Dr. Gentle was raised in Miami. She attended Pinecrest Elementary school, Palmetto Middle and Senior High School, and Miami-Dade Community College before earning her bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Florida Atlantic University. She then worked several years in physical therapy and massage therapy before earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life College West, outside San Francisco.
Dr. Gentle is a prominent contributor to her community and her profession. She is a member of Chamber South, the Pinecrest Business Association, the West Kendall Business Association and the Dade County Chiropractic Society. She is a Dade Partner of Palmetto High, and Perrine Elementary schools. Her charities include the Community Habilitation Center in Kendall, the Chamber South and their annual South Miami Art Show, the Deering Estate and their annual Seafood Festival with their big sponsor the Golden Rule Seafood Market located in Perrine in Miami, FL, the Oklahaven Childrens Chiropractic Center, and many others.
